The Society’s collection of artifacts includes furniture, decorative arts, household items, clothing and textiles, artwork, whaling and fishing implements and Quogue family memorabilia.
Its collection of historic documents comprises diaries, deeds, ledgers, daybooks, billheads and receipts, letters, maps, and other documents associated with the history of Quogue.

“This place grows on me and am told this is so with everyone. At first I thought I never saw such an uninteresting place … there is no noise … but there is something so different from any place that I begin to think it is fine. It makes one feel as though ‘Well, this is a great place to rest and forget work and, indeed, anxiety of any kind.”
